Denise Holladay Damico – author

Dr. Denise Holladay Damico teaches courses on U.S. history, environmental history, African-American history, and the history of witchcraft at Saint Francis University, where she is Chair of the Department of History and Political Science. She grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, received her Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Ph.D. in American History at Brandeis University in 2008. She has been at Saint Francis University since 2009.

Madeline Berry is a PhD candidate at Mississippi State University. Her research interests include environmental history and material culture. She teaches both modern and early U.S. history. She is from Altoona, Pennsylvania and received her bachelor’s degree at Saint Francis University.
